THE HOME DRAMATIC CLUB, the THESPIAN CLUB, and CATHOLIC DRAMATIC ASSOCIATION, all organized within the past ten years, have given local dramatic entertainments with success.

The CROQUET CLUB at Hingham Centre, which disbanded a few years since, was for ten or fifteen years a prominent feature in the life at Hingham Centre.

This with a TENNIS CLUB and numerous BASE BALL clubs of recent and variable terms of existence represent the interest in athletic sports.

The SOCIAL CLUB and OWL CLUB are composed of young men for purely Social purposes.

There have been and are numerous clubs for literary improvement such as are found in every community, which are so much of a private nature that the present work seems hardly to include them.
