   Peter, m. first (pub. in Hing. Jan. 30, 1718-19), Hannah Tucker, dau. of Joshua and Hannah (Cleverly) Tucker. She was b. in Hing. July 6, 1699, and d. 10 Jan. 1719-20, at the age of 21 yrs. He m. secondly, Nov. 6, 1722, Mrs. Margaret (Leavitt) Lincoln, wid. of Caleb Lincoln (p. 17), and dau. of Josiah and Margaret ( Johnson) Leavitt. She was b. in Hing. Oct. 20, 1683, and d. a wid. 22 Aug. 1749, at the age of 66 yrs.

   James, who served an apprenticeship at the trade of "cooper" with Nathaniel Hersey, on Main, near Hobart St., and was widely known among the physicians and scientists of Boston and vic. as the great water-drinker, m. in Hing. Oct. 27, 1816, Anna Damon. This fam. removed here to New Bedford, Mass.
