AUDRA LAVADA⁴ YOUNG (WILLIAM EDWARD³, AUGUST HERMAN² FRANK, OSCAR¹) was born January 24, 1907 in Lewisville, Ohio, and died April 8, 1990 in Columbus, Ohio.  She married (1) LAWRENCE WILLIAM HINES August 15, 1928, son of JOHN HINES and ELIZABETH MATZ.  He was born August 17, 1904 in Lewisville, OH, and died May 27, 1929 in Lewisville, OH.  She married (2) IRA EDWARD HARRINGTON February 24, 1931 in Circleville, Ohio, son of WILLIAM HARRINGTON and SARA PENCE.  He was born August 28, 1899 in Circleville, Ohio, and died November 23, 1983 in Circleville, Ohio.

Audra Lavada Young (January 24, 1907 - April 8, 1990) was born in the log house that was originally purchased by her great great grandparents in 1855.  At the age of 7 she moved with her family to a house on the hill that had been refurbished by her father from an office and shed that had been constructed by an oil development company.  Audra lived the first 23 years of her life in Monroe County, Ohio.

Audra married twice.  She first married Lawrence William Hines (August 17, 1904 - May 27, 1929) on August 15, 1928 in Monroe County, Ohio.  Lawrence died 9 months later of heart problems caused by rheumatic fever earlier in his life.  Audra's second marriage was to Ira E. Harrington on February 24, 1931 in Circleville, Ohio.  Audra and Ira had 3 children, one of whom is the author of this book, Richard Edward Harrington.  Audra lived the remainder of her life and is buried in Circleville, Ohio.

LAWRENCE WILLIAM HINES:

Audra L. Young said that Lawrence Hines had some heart troubles.  She said that she always suspected that he died from poisoned (spoiled) chicken that his mother had packed in his lunch.  According to Audra, they had no refrigeration and Lawrence's mother put a piece of fried chicken that was left over from Sunday's dinner, in a mason jar and set it in the basement. 

I looked up Lawrence W. Hines death record in the Monroe County, Ohio Department of Health office just outside Woodsfield, Ohio.  It indicated that the cause of death was Cerebral Ambolisim.  The attending physician was A.R. Burkhart, MD.  The death record card had the references: Vol 1, page 61.

The following per Wilene Jackson:  Lawrence Hines was working at the A&P in Stubenville, Ohio at the time he met Audra Young.  They were married about 9 months later. 

IRA EDWARD HARRINGTON:

Buried in Forest Cemetery, Circleville, Ohio.  Ira was creamated and his ashes are buried at the site of his tombstone.

Ira Harrington was in the hospital with pneumonia in the Spring of 1943.  This date is fixed by June coming from Indianoplis for a visit and was pregnant with her only son, Bobbie Franklin.

Ira's Social Security Number:  288-01-4159 issued in Ohio.

    ii.  WILLIAM YOUNG HARRINGTON, b. March 10, 1933; d. February 23, 1986.
