Sometime is Scotland they came over to Ireland
Where they received the name of McKinney.

The name of the first original ancestor
I have any account of was James Kinney, if
He lived in Scotland or Ireland is not known
But he had some children what their names
Were are not now known except one, from I
Am descended his name was Patrick Kinney
And he resided in Ireland.

Patrick Kinney had several children
The names of which that I know of were as
Follows: Thomas Kinney, John Kinney, ??
Kinney and Henry Kinney and probably
Others.

Henry Kinney came to the United States
Of America somewhere near the year 1800.
He married a lady by the name of Emily
That marriage produced but one child
And his name was Thomas M Kinney he died
At or near the age of twenty.

They said Henry Kinney resided ?
Dauphin Co, Pennsylvania and he was named
There Henry McKinney. He died Aug 3, 18??
He was possessed of some property of which
