The ancestors on my mother’s side were
Originally of Welsh descent, however they
Moved to Scotland.
The oldest one that I have any record
Was John Millison who came from Scotland
To the United States of America about two
Hundred years ago or perhaps about the
Year 1680 or 1681 and settled near the
New Jersey shore. His wife’s given name
Was Mary.
I will present here a genealogical table
Of them as follows:
1st generation: John Millison
2nd gen: James, Johathon (did he mean Jonathan?)
3rd gen: John, James, Mary, Jacob, William, Richard
4th gen: Caleb, Joel, Sarah, Mary, Lydia, James
Anne, John, Abigail, and Rachel
5th gen: Joel, Elizabeth, John, Mary, Amy,
Sarah, James, Abner, and Caleb.

Of John Millison the original ancestor I
Know about him nothing.

Of James of the 2nd generation of whom I am descent
I have no account of but traditionary. He
Married Alice Woodward
Of Johnathan all is unknown.

Of John of the 3rd it is supposed he went to
The Carolina’s about the time of the
Revolutionary war.

Of James 3rd of whom I am descended was
My great grandfather. He was born in
Old Style. May 31, 1748 and died New Style
Nov 11, 1841. Age 93 years, 5months 21 days.
Married Abigail Hays.
Of all the rest of the 3rd gen I know nothing
About, except Richard. He was living 1853.
He was so fat he sat in the cellar abt. ????
