Fifth of May

Intentions
epitomizing discreet indigence
placed next to each other
for those two powers--
Elijah never disappearred;

dawn is the meeting time
under a rose bush;
hurrying and worrying
anxiously to catch
    the moment that sparks
    just once a year.

Now is the waiting
    and expecting
    and watching
    and anticipating
    and wondering

how , and where,and when

    beyond any physical reach,
    under nor coporal intrusion,
    over the power of the seeing,
    in the depth of faith
could good will win without withering,
    lamenting on sealed eyes.
