William W. Rowlee graduated at Cornell University in 1888 and received the degree of D. S. C. from same in 1893. In 1904 he was Professor of Botany at Cornell and superintendent of the University grounds. Both Mr. and Mrs. Rowlee are lineal descendants of Mayflower Pilgrims.
