Potsdam LDS-FHC:

On LDS microfilm 1304688, transcribed marriage records by Rev. William Whitfield, a Free Will Baptist minister at Pierrepont, New York from 1841to 1891,
"March 26, 1842 in Pierrepont, Mr. Alran (previously Abram?) Reed (or Read?) Esq and MRS. Lucy Sackett."

"In Pierrepont, October 1, 1843 Mr. Fortus Conkey and Miss Cornealia Sackett."

In the Canton vital records for 1848:
female on 4-9 named Narvelle S., daughter of Augustus R and Mary Sackett.

There are no Sacketts in the Pierrepont, nor Potsdam 1847-1849 vital records.

I looked at the 1865 Civil War Veterans census by town clerks for Lisbon, Pierrepont, Canton, and Potsdam, but did not find any more Sacketts.

Got back out the Addison County Vermont microfilms.  I recommend you order them at your FHC.  You need to spend time researching through them to find the deeds and any vital record information.  It appears Joseph Sacket of New Haven (see history as this is early name in Addison), Addison County, Vermont was grantor in 1794 to David Baxter of same place, deed found in vol. 2, page 22.  It appears Joseph Sacket obtained 50 acres from the original p.r. of Matthew Sears which was surveyed by Ebenezer Wright.  Also, as previously stated, there is Chauncey Sacket/Shacket in 1803.  More on that later.

The 1791 U.S. Census for Vermont--
Sacket, Joseph, Addison Co Vt 14     01 01 04 00 00
Sackit, Joseph, Addison Co Vt 11   01 00 02 00 00
In 1800 U.S. Census for Vermont
Sacket, Reuben, Addison, Addison Co, Vt    00001-00001-00
Note--I do not have access here to the Mortality Schedules which might be of help.

I then spent the entire afternoon at the St. Lawrence County Court House pulling deeds.
