- I submit the following as my annual report,
to which I have added an inventory of all the property
- belonging to the Fire Department:
- The horses, wagons and harness are in good
condition. There are forty-four hundred feet of hose in
- service, of which three thousand feet will
stand any fire pressure. The alarm system consists of sixteen
miles of wire and 28 street boxes. There have been twenty fire
alarms since Jan. 1st and each alarm was reported correctly.
The condition of the Central Station is now being considered
by the Fire committee. The East Side Station is in complete working
order and with its compliment of men has given good satisfaction.

equipments and supplies used by your fire department:
