side of Central avenue between Clary street and Woodward avenue, on the north side of Broad street along
Mechanics' Green, on Euclid avenue and on Highland avenue were referred to the Aldermen of the several wards in which the work was done.
The report of the City Marshal for the month of April was presented, accepted and placed on file.
The report of the Police Justice for the month of April, showing no cases in which the city was a party, was
presented, accepted and placed on file.
The following communication was presented and referred to the Aldermen of the Fourth ward:

MILWAUKEE, WIS., MAY 18, 1900.
MAYOR OF THE CITY OF BELOIT, WIS.
Dear Sir: - I beg to inform you that Highland street is being drained by means of a sewer on to my lot,
No. 231 of HACKETT's addition of your city. The water is washing a hole in the side of the bank, and I desire to have you discontinue the drain immediately. Your prompt action in this matter will greatly oblige me.

On motion the Council then adjourned.
