- EXHIBITS.
- Four large exhibits have been made during
the year, besides the birthday and special day bulletins,
- and an occasional bulletin for clubs.
-
- READING TABLES.
- 15 different periodicals were purchased by
the Library the past year and placed on the reading tables.
- This has added greatly to the interest of
the Library.
- The attendance is very good, especially on
winter evenings when every chair is in use.
-
- CHILDREN.
- Special attention will be given the children
and schools next year. A set of the St. Nicholas has been
- purchased, which will aid in reference work
in the lower grades.
-
- NEW CHARGING SYSTEM.
- The charging system at the desk has been
changed for the better by the use of the book card. This
- gives a complete record of the books drawn,
and will aid teachers in judging the class of reading done in
the
- schools.
- The invoicing was done this year without
the closing of the Library for two weeks as heretofore.
-
- ACKNOWLEDGEMENTS.
- Acknowledgements are due to the many who
have so freely given old periodicals. It is our aim to
- complete our sets of bound magazines as soon
as possible, for they are of great use in reference work.
-
- Respectfully,
- Martha W. BELL,
- Librarian
