tablished on said street, is in our opinion, not the best that could be established, and is in fact, a serious detriment to our property.
We would respectfully ask that Eighth street, as its intersection with Highland avenue, be lowered one
foot and that Highland avenue be lowered to conform with Eighth street at said point and the grade be allowed to stand from there to a point 396 ft. from the said intersection of Eighth street and Highland avenue, which is the point where the break occurs in the grade as now established.
It is our opinion that an error has been made in the original grade as established several years ago and
we would ask that this be changed before it is a serious damage to our property.

D streets, respectfully petition your honorable body to establish the grade of the sidewalk on the east side of Elm street, between E and D streets, city of Beloit, Wis.

The undersigned residents and taxpayers of the Third and Fifth wards of Beloit residing on and
around Elm, C and Eighth streets petition your honorable body to cause water mains to be laid on Elm street from D street north and on C street from Oak street west, as we are not sufficiently protected in case of fire and have no water for domestic use as is provided in other parts of the city, and as the health and convenience of our families demand it.
