- to be lowered the manholes on Pleasant street sewer so that
the covers shall conform to the surface of the street.
- Ald. NEEDHAM presented the following resolution, which
was adopted:
- Resolved, That the city buy a traction engine at a
cost not to exceed $400 for the purpose of operating the rock
- crusher, and that the matter be referred to the senior aldermen
of the several wards to report to the Council at the next meeting.
- Ald. HANSEN presented the following resolution, which
was adopted by the unanimous vote of the Council, the
- ayes and noes being called:
- Resolved, That the sum of $125 be appropriated from
the special Park improvement fund and placed in the hands
- of the committee on Public Grounds for the purpose of gravelling
walks and paths running through the park according to the adopted
plat of same, and for making such other improvements as this
amount will warrant.
- The Mayor announced the appointment of the following election
officers:
