The proposed ordinance to amend section 176 of Ordinance No. 50 was then taken from the table.
Ald. HANSEN moved that the ordinance be read a third time in full and placed on its final passage. Carried. The
ordinance was then read a third time in full.
Ald. HANSEN moved that the Ordinance be numbered 70 and that it do now pass. Supported and adopted and
the ordinance passed entitled as follows:

            ORDINANCE NO. 80.
An Ordinance to amend Section Number 176 of Ordinance Number 50 of the Ordinances of the city of Beloit.
The Mayor and Common Council of the city of Beloit do ordain:

Reports were received from the City Engineer of sidewalk grades set and approved by the Board of Public Works
as follows:
On the west side of Harrison avenue from Broad to School street.
On the west side of Mill street from St. Paul avenue to Water street.
On the south side of Strong avenue between Barstow and Partridge avenues.
On the west side of Milwaukee Road between Strong and White avenues.
On the east side of Elm street between D and E streets.
On the east side of Oak street between D and E streets.
On the east side of Oak street from E street to Locust street.
On Euclid avenue west of Eighth street.
On the south side of C street from Elm street to Eighth street.
On the west side of Sixth street between Merrill and Liberty streets.
On the north side of Liberty street between Tenth and Eleventh streets.
On motion the reports of the Engineer were referred to the Aldermen of the respective wards in which located.
The report of the City Sexton for August, showing receipts of $74.00 with Treasurer's receipt attached, was
presented, accepted and placed on file.
The report of the Police Justice showing receipts of $6.00 for the moth of August with Treasurer's receipt attached
was presented, accepted and placed on file.
The report of the City Marshal for the month of August was presented, accepted and placed on file.
On motion, the Council then adjourned.
