    A bill of F. H. KEMP for plans for rebuilding the fire station for $80.00 was referred to the Fire Committee.
    The following petition was received and referred to the License committee:

To the Mayor and Common Council of the city of Beloit:
Gentlemen: Your petition shows to your honorable body that he has deposited with the City Treasurer
the sum of $5.00 for license to keep one pool table and that said license has been issued to him; he further states that he has not had said pool table in use and does not intend to use same and would respectfully petition that the said license fee be rebated to him.

    Ald. CUNNINGHAM presented the following petition which was referred to the Fire Committee:

To the Honorable Mayor and Common Council of the city of Beloit:
Gentlemen: We the undersigned property owners respectfully petition your honorable body for
permission to erect an addition to the building now occupied by the Sanitary Plumbing Co.; said addition to be placed at the east end of said building, is to be 14 by 16 feet in size, one story high, sides to be light frame covered outside and inside with iron. The roof to be tin.

Ald. MERRILL presented the following petition which was referred to the Board of Public Works and Aldermen
of the Fifth ward:

To the Honorable Mayor and Common Council of the city of Beloit:
Gentlemen: We would respectfully call your attention to the condition of Merrill street between Elm
and Tenth streets where during the winter when the ground is frozen the water stands in the said part of Merrill street, completely covering some portions of said street so as to make it almost impassible. Therefore, we the undersigned residents and property owners of the Fifth ward respectfully petition your honorable body to cause to be built two sink wells on the said part of Merrill street:

    Ald. MERRILL for the Public Property committee to whom was referred the
