Noes - Aldermen BUCKERIDGE, HANSEN, MERRILL [- 3].
Ald. HELM presented the following resolution which was adopted:
Resolved, That the report of the City Engineer of sidewalk grade on South Race street between Prospect and State
streets be received and placed on file.
Ald. HELM, for the Aldermen of the First ward, presented the following resolution which was adopted:
Resolved, That the Board of Public Works be directed to haul a few loads of gravel on to South Race street to fill up
low places.
Ald. SHARP presented the following resolution which was adopted:
Resolved, That the City Engineer from this time on be prohibited from giving private grades on pain of losing his
appointment as City Engineer.
Ald. NEEDHAM presented the following resolution which was referred to the Aldermen of the Second ward:
Resolved, That the Board of Public Works cause a sidewalk to be built on the east side of Park avenue between
Woodward avenue and White avenue.
Ald. LEDELL presented the following resolution which was adopted:
Resolved, That all sidewalks on the west side of Fourth street between C and Merrill streets be brought to the
established grade within fifteen days from and after the passage of this resolution, and that the Board of Public Works be instructed to carry out the intention of the within resolution.
Ald. POLLOCK presented the following resolution which was adopted:
Resolved, That a sidewalk be ordered built on the north side of Highland avenue west of Adams street.
On motion the Council then adjourned.
