- Ald. HANSEN, for the Aldermen of the Second ward,
reported recommending the adoption of sidewalk grade as
- set by the City Engineer on the north side of Clary street
from Pleasant street to College street. On motion the report
and grade were adopted.
- Ald. BUCKERIDGE, for the Health and Sewerage committee,
reported recommending granting the petition of
- C. S. GREGORY and others for permission to connect
with catch basin on Public avenue.
- On motion the report was adopted and petition granted.
- Ald. CLARKE, for the Street Lights committee, reported
on the bill of the Beloit Electric Co., as follows:

- Your Committee recommend a deduction of $15.00,
fifteen dollars, instead of five dollars.

- On motion the report was adopted and the bill allowed as
recommended in amount of $353.00, by the unanimous
- vote of the Council, the ayes and noes being called.
- Ald. LEDELL, for the License committee, reported on
the petition of M. L. RYAN for rebate of pool table fee
as
- follows:

- Your Committee to whom the within petition
was referred would recommend that the license be
- rebated, and that an order drawn on the treasurer
payable to M. L. RYAN.

- On motion the report was adopted and rebate granted by the
unanimous vote of the Council, the ayes and noes

- Ald. MERRILL, for the Aldermen of the Fifth ward,
reported recommending the adoption of sidewalk grade as set
- by the City Engineer on the east side of Eighth street between
C and Merrill streets.
- On motion the report and grade were adopted.
- Ald. MERRILL, for the Aldermen of the Fifth ward and
Board of Public Works, presented the following report
- which was re-referred to committee to ascertain estimate
of expense: -
