From Corporal Lee Menor (p. 111)

Le Mans, France, June 24, 1919.

"At Easter my buddy and I made a tour of France visiting the battlefields, Rheims, Paris. At another time for three days
we visited Bordeaux, Marseilles, Nice, Monte Carlo, Lyon, Dijon and Tours. I am going to tell you about this trip sometime, about the wonderful things I have seen and heard. You would surely have enjoyed Opera in Paris. I never saw a more gorgeous building and the rendition of the performance of Opera 'Castor and Pollox' was perfection."

LEE MENOR.
