Mrs. Sarah LANPHEAR
Funeral services for Mrs. Sarah LANPHEAR, who died at Racine yesterday, will be
held at 2 p.m. Thursday at the Rosman-Uehling-Kinzer chapel. The Rev. Theodore J. REYKDAL, pastor of the First Methodist church, will officiate. The Eastern Star will also participate in the services. Burial will be in Oakwood cemetery.
 
Jim SORENSON
Clinton - Jim SORENSON, a resident of the Clinton vicinity for the past 59 years, died
at 7:10 a.m. today at his home on Milwaukee road in Turtle township.
He was born Dec. 30, 1860, at Heliava, Venazsil, Denmark, and came to Clinton in
1882. He married Frances DUGAN at Clinton in 1891.
Survivors are the wife; two sons, Jim, Delavan, and William, Clinton; two daughters,
Mrs. Carrie DREW and Mrs. Maggie NEHLS, both of Janesville; and several grandchildren.
The body is at the Schoenfeld funeral home here.
 
Phares F. NOLTY
Brodhead - Phares F. NOTY, 85, a resident of this vicinity all his life, died at 8 o'clock
last night at his home here after an illness of a year.
Mr. NOLTY was born July 9, 1858, in Spring Grove, the son of Mr. and Mrs. John B.
NOLTY. He was married May 20, 1877, to Sarah N. HOFFMAN, in Juda. She died four
years ago. He lived in Spring Grove until 1902 when he moved to Orfordville. In 1910 he
moved to Brodhead. Survivors are four daughters, Mrs. Emmett GRENWALT, and Mrs. F. M. TIES, Brodhead, Mrs. TAYLOR, Orfordville, and Mrs. Arthur ROEHL, Brodhead; a son
Floyd NOLTY, Beloit, six grandchildren and one great-grandchild. Arthur died in
1910.
Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Thursday at the New___ [illegible] funeral
home here. The Rev. COWMAN will officiate. Burial will be in Maple Grove cemetery, Orfordville.
