Mrs. Joseph P. KRAEPLIN [nee Grace M. HOLLIDAY], 816 Marvin Street, a
resident of this community nearly all her life, died at 6:30 p. m. Saturday at the Beloit hospital after a lingering illness. She was 70 years old.
Mrs. KRAEPLIN was born December 20, 1871, at Caledonia, IL., the daughter of
Mr. and Mrs. Abner J. HOLLIDAY. Shortly afterwards the family moved to the SHAW farm south of Beloit, and later to Beloit. She attended the schools here, and she was married to Joseph P. KRAEPLIN July 18, 1893, in Beloit.
Sixteen years ago [1926, the year after her mother died at their residence] Mr.
and Mrs. KRAEPLIN moved to Rockford, and they returned to Beloit two years ago [1940].
Survivors are her husband; a son Carl KRAEPLIN, Beloit; a brother, Guy
HOLLIDAY, Milton, and two grandchildren, Robert and Joan KRAEPLIN. Her parents and three brothers, Bert, Ray and Julius HOLLIDAY preceded her in death.
Funeral services will be held at 2:30 p. m. Tuesday at the Rosman-Uehling-Kinzer
chapel. The Rev. Walter HOLLIDAY, her nephew, will officiate. Burial will be in Oakwood cemetery.
