- Elmer Newman ROWLEY, 84, of 919 E. Grand Ave., died
Wednesday evening at
- Beloit Hospital.
- He was born July 21, 1881 in Middleton, the son of Oran and
Eunice PARMETER
- ROWLEY. He married the former Janet HASTINGS,
Jan. 22, 1903 in Brodhead. A Fairbanks Morse, Inc. employee for
40 years before his retirement in 1948, he was a member of the
firm's Quarter Century Club. He also was a member of the First
Christian Church, Janesville; Myrtle Lodge 10, Odd Fellows, and
the Senior Citizens Club at Beloit.
- He is survived by his wife and several nieces and nephews.
- Services will be held at 1:30 p.m. Saturday in Rosman-Uehling-Kinzer
Central Chapel,
- the Rev. Harry Elwood officiating. Burial will be in Oakwood
Cemetery. Friends may call from 7 to 9 p.m. Friday at Central
Chapel. [Thursday edition]
