The Death Roll for Last Year
The record of deaths for the city of Evansville, during the period of 1905, was only
thirty-five, or ten less than the year previous. There has been no epidemic and the rate has been normal. The month of January showed the largest number of burials, nine, while during the year previous March, November and December showed an equal number of six.
Through the courtesy of the sexton, J. M. BALLARD, we present the names of those
who were committed to Maple Hill cemetery during the past year.
[There were conflicting names and dates between this article and the one
pubished in The Badger (January 20, 1906). The Badger's version of names follows in parenthesis. Where dates conflicted, the Maple Hill Cemetery Index was used as a guide for correct dates.]
