Ruth Mary Robinson, 1911-1923
The angel of death stepped into the home of Mr. and Mrs. Hugh ROBINSON of
The Maples, last Monday, January 15, and called little Ruth Mary, the only daughter of the home, to a higher life.
Ruth Mary ROBINSON was born Oct. 15, 1911, bidding farewell to what to her
was a world of joy and love, Jan. 15, 1923, after a short illness with heart trouble, with which she had been afflicted more or less since her birth.
Never strong in health until about a year ago, when she could attend school regularly
for the first time, she showed by high averages in her studies that her mind was stronger than her body.
Never in robust health, she never let her own troubles interfere with her thoughts for
the comforts of others and her loving disposition and gentleness, despite her weakness and pain, was a marvel to all who knew her.
The funeral services, conducted by the Rev. Frank Hanaman, of the Methodist church,
were held at The Maples, Wednesday, afternoon, the interment being in Maple Hill cemetery.
Those who attended the funeral from outside points were: Ralph REYNOLDS and
wife, Lodi; Lloyd BARNARD and wife, Janesville; Art FUNK, Eau Claire, and Fred ROSENTHALL, Mondovi.
