Fred Bliven Dies in Janesville Today
Former Evansville Resident Succumbs in Hospital After Long Illness
Fred BLIVEN, 66, former Evansville resident died early this moring in a Janesville
hospital, following a lingering illness. The body is at the Allen funeral home pending funeral arrangements.
Mr. BLIVEN, son of the late Charles and Harriet BLIVEN, was born in Edgerton,
March 31, 1877. He grew up in that locality and later resided in this city for a number of years.
The deceased is survived by two brothers, William BLIVEN, this city and Jesse
BLIVEN, Detroit, Michigan. [p. 5, cols. 5 & 6]

FRED BLIVEN FUNERAL SERVICE HELD SUNDAY
Funeral services for Fred BLIVEN, 66, Janesville, former local resident and brother
of William BLIVEN, this city, were held at 2 p.m. Sunday in the Allen funeral home with the Rev. Grant V. Clark, pastor of the Congregational church officiating. The chapel music was played by Mrs. C. W. HAZLETT.
Burial was in the Ball Tavern cemetery three miles east of the city with Frank
HOLMES, Ernest BIDWELL, Ben GRAY and Verne WORTHING acting as pall bearers. [p. 1, col. 4]
