- Former Evansville Resident Succumbs in Hospital After
Long Illness
- Fred BLIVEN, 66, former Evansville resident died early
this moring in a Janesville
- hospital, following a lingering illness. The body is at the
Allen funeral home pending funeral arrangements.
- Mr. BLIVEN, son of the late Charles and Harriet BLIVEN,
was born in Edgerton,
- March 31, 1877. He grew up in that locality and later resided
in this city for a number of years.
- The deceased is survived by two brothers, William BLIVEN,
this city and Jesse

- FRED BLIVEN FUNERAL SERVICE HELD SUNDAY
- Funeral services for Fred BLIVEN, 66, Janesville,
former local resident and brother
- of William BLIVEN, this city, were held at 2 p.m.
Sunday in the Allen funeral home with the Rev. Grant V. Clark,
pastor of the Congregational church officiating. The chapel music
was played by Mrs. C. W. HAZLETT.
- Burial was in the Ball Tavern cemetery three miles east of
the city with Frank
- HOLMES, Ernest BIDWELL, Ben GRAY and
Verne WORTHING acting as pall bearers. [p. 1, col.
