Henry LLOYD, a wealthy bachelor, was found dead in his bed at his home near Janesville, Sunday morning. LLOYD settled here in 1845, coming from New York state. Disappointment in love caused him to become a recluse and no woman had ever entered his house. He rented a pew at the Emerald Grove Congregational church with the understanding that no woman should ever be allowed to enter it. He owned a fine farm, and was 75 years old.
