- CATHOLIC CEMETERY.
- No interments of adults in the Catholic Cemetery for the last
- month. Two interments of children, one four months old, and
the other a few hours. [p. 7, col. 1]
- ACCIDENT. - While Henry GLASS
and George BODLE, of this city, were hunting a
- day or two ago, the former was accidentally shot in the arm
by the latter. The wound, though severe and painful, is not dangerous,
and Mr. GLASS is doing well. [p. 7, col. 1]
- BOOKS FOR THE CONTRABANDS.
- Thos. S. ALLEN of the 13th Wisconsin regiment
- is at present in this city, and desires to take with him
when he returns, such books and papers as would be useful in
a school for contrabands at Fort Donelson, which is now in progress.
Those who have second hand school books and Sabbath school papers,
that they can spare, please leave them at Mr. RIKER's
harness shop, on Monday forenoon next. [p. 7, col. 1]
