- Milton Junction - Uncle David BURDICK, one of the
old residents of the town, died
- at his home in this village on Thursday morning last after
an illness of about one week. Mr. BURDICK was 78 years
of age and for the last two years has been failing quite rapidly
both in body and mental powers, so that his last illness was
but a brief shrinking away of the physical powers that remained.
The funeral took place at the S.D.B. church on Saturday morning
last, Rev. Mr. Wardner officiating. He leaves a wife and four
sons, one of whom, Rev. Charles BURDICK, holds a S.D.
Baptist pastorate in the State of Virginia. [p. 2, col. 1]
