OBITUARY - James H. BROWN--Was a contractor and builder in Janesville, Wisconsin
James H. BROWN aged sixty eight years, two months and nine days, died at his
home in the town of Center November 25. Mr. BROWN came to Janesville in 1855 from New York and has since resided in Rock county. He was a member of the Grove church and a consistent Christian. Mr. BROWN had been in feeble health for a long time, the direct cause of his death being heart failure. He leaves a wife and six sons. The funeral was held from the home this morning, and the internment was made at Center. The pall bearers were Benjamin BLEASDALE, A. WIGGINS, H. M. FITCH, A. BARLOW, E. SCHOFIELD and H. V. WRIGHT.
