- Julia DAVIS BURDICK died at her home, 302 Cherry
street, Saturday evening at
- half-past nine o'clock after an illness of several months
most patiently borne. Mrs. BURDICK was born in Brookfield,
Madison Co., New York, Aug. 31, 1829. She came to Wisconsin in
the early days and was married to Rowland S. BURDICK Nov.
13, 1879, since which date she has lived in Janesville. Of a
cheerful, sunny disposition, she endeared herself to those near
her, and to whom her unselfish life will remain a loving memory.
Mrs. BURDICK is survived by a niece, Miss Julia M??ke?
of Fayette, Iowa, and a nephew, J. E. DAVIS of Chicago.
The funeral will be held from the home Wednesday at 2 p.m.
