OBITUARY.
Mrs. James Murphy.
Funeral services for the late Mrs. James MURPHY were held this morning at nine
o'clock from St. Patrick's church. Solemn high mass was celebrated with Dean Reilly officiating as celebranbt, Father Smith of Brodhead as deacon, and Father James McGinnity as sub-deacon. There were many friends present as the last and rites and many beautiful floral offerings were fitting attributes to the life just passed. Interment was made in Mt. Olivet cemetery. The pall bearers were: James MOONEY, Peter MOONEY, James CRANE, Michael MULCAHEY, Bert KELLOGG and James REED. [Friday edition, p. 2, col. 3]

Harry Jones.
Harry JONES pased away yesterday afternoon at half past one at the home of his
parents, 503 South High street. He leaves besides his father and mother, five brothers; Arthur JONES of Footville; Clarke R., Fred B., Harvey, and Leland of this city; and five sisters: Mrs. J. H. BORT of Wausau; Mrs. J. E. JOHNSON of Rockford, and Maud, Lucy and Hazel of this city.
The funeral will be held from the home, Saturday morning at ten o'clock.

Note: Harold S. "Harry" JONES was born in June of 1882 to Noah JONES and Margaret O. (HARNDEN) JONES. The family lore is that Harry was run over by a wagon - crushing his abdomen; he managed to survive about three days before finally passing away due to his injuries.
Harry's siblings were Nettie (JONES) JOHNSON, Edith M. (JONES) BORK,
Arthur Ernest JONES, Clark R. JONES, Fred D. JONES, Maude Bell (JONES) JOYCE, Harvey JONES, Leland S. JONES, Lucy (JONES) KLECK and Hazel I. (JONES) BOTTOMS.
Arthur Ernest JONES, listed above, is my great-grandfather. -Lori Niemuth,
