Mrs. Ella J. HERRICK [nee BURDICK] of Edgerton, age sixty years, died this morning at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Daisy COSGROVE, in the town of Janesville, after an illness of several weeks. Mrs. HERRICK was born at Johnstown, Dec. 7th, 1855, and made her home in Edgerton. She is survived by her daughter and two sons, Nathan of Edgerton and Claude of Madison. The remains will be taken to Edgerton tomorrow, and interment will take place in that city. [Wednesday edition, p. 5]   Courtesy of Jon Saunders
