- Funeral services for the late Richard DAVEY were held
this morning at nine o'clock
- from St. Patrick's church. Requiem high mass was celebrated
by Father Wittermann. He also delivered the sermon. Interment
was made in Mt. Olivet cemetery. The pall-bearers were James
DEE, J. MULLIGAN, William MURRAY, John JOYCE,
John COLEMAN, and D. J. BARRY. [Friday edition,

- Frank L. Chase
- The remains of the late Frank Leslie CHASE were laid
to rest in Oak Hill cemetery
- this afternoon. Rev. J. A. Melrose of the Presbyterian church
officiated at the funeral services which were held from the late
home 323 North Chatham street at two-thirty o'clock. I.O.O.F.
Lodge No. 90 had charge of the services at the grave. [Friday
