EDGERTON- A heart attack proved fatal to Harold [Hamden] BABCOCK, 53, at
9 p.m. Wednesday at his farm home, one mile north of Albion. He was born Nov. 14, 1882, on the farm on which he spent his entire life.
Surviving are his widow, the former Vera SAUNDERS; his mother Mrs. Martha
BABCOCK, Albion; a daughter, Mrs. Charles SAUNDERS, Albion, and three grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held in the home at 2 p.m. Saturday, the Rev. Charles
Thorngate officiating. Burial will be in the Evergreen cemetery at Albion. [Thursday edition]

[OBITUARY -] Mrs. ZANZINGER Is Dead; Resident of County 50 Years
Mrs. George ZANZINGER, Sr., 69, resident of Rock County since 1885, died at
1:30 a.m. Thursday in her home on the Black Bridge road following an illness of one year.
Mrs. ZANZINGER, formerly Margaret HESSENAUER, was born in Germany July
11, 1867, and came to Janesville in 1885. She was married to George ZANZINGER June 12, 1888, and they located on a farm near Emerald Grove, in 1904 moving to a farm in the town of Plymouth. She was a member of St. John's Lutheran church.
She is survived by her husband; two daughters, Mrs. Fred SCHLEUTER and Mrs.
Leo GRANGER, both of the town of Harmony; two sons, George, Center, and John, Plymouth; three grandchildren; and three sisters, Mrs. Herman REMUS, Janesville, Mrs. John HOFFMAN, Milwaukee, and one living in Germany.
The funeral will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday in St. John's church, with the Rev. John R.
Keiser to officiate. Burial will be in Oak Hill cemetery. The body will be removed from a funeral home at 15 North Jackson street to the residence Friday morning.
