- Milton - George Henry SAUNDERS, 75, a retired farmer,
died in his home in Milton
- at 6:30 a.m., Sunday.
- He was born Oct. 22, 1865, near Albion, Dane county, the
son of Stephen C. and
- Julia L. SAUNDERS.
- When about 17 years of age he came with his parents to a
farm near Milton and after
- finishing district schools attended Milton college. He
took up farming as his occupation and on Oct. 10, 1889, married
Hattie A. BARNHART. In 1919, they with their daughter,
Gladys, moved to Milton. His survivors are his wife, a son,
Jesse J., a daughter, Gladys who has cared for him during his
ill health, a brother, Wilmer J. SAUNDERS, and a sister,
Mrs. Helen S. KELLY, all of Milton.
- Funeral services will be held Wednesday at 2:30 p.m. in the
Gray and Albrecht funeral
- home. Friends may call at the funeral home between 7 and
9 Tuesday evening. [Thursday edition]
