[OBITUARY -] Mrs. Charles H. GIBSON
Funeral services for Mrs. Charles H. GIBSON, 317 Clark street, were held at 2 p.m.
Tuesday in the Overton funeral home, the Rev. John R. Estes, Baptist church, officiating. Burial was in Milton Lawns park. Pallbearers were Willard GIBSON, Fred BIERKNESS, Edgar BAILEY, William COBURN, Allen DRAKE and Jerry KOCHELL.

[OBITUARY -] Charles L. GUMS
Charles L. GUMS, 84, of 927 Prairie avenue, retired teamster and building
contractor, died at 7 a.m. Tuesday in Rock county hospital. He has been ill for the past year.
Born at Jefferson April 25, 1866, Mr. GUMS, was married to Alvina STEINKE,
Nov. 8, 1893, in Jefferson. They located in Janesville in 1900. Mr. GIMS [GUMS] was a member of St. Paul's Lutheran church.
Surviving are his wife; two sons, Harry, of Kenosha, and Clarence, of Janesville; two
brothers, Louis, Ringold, Wis., and Henry GUMS, Wausau; three sisters, Mrs. Mollie LONGHOFT and Mrs. Bertha WILDERMAN, both of Fort Atkinson and Mrs. Sophia GILLETTE, Madison; and five grandchildren.
Services will be at 2 p.m. Thursday in St. Paul's church, the Rev. Martin C.
Droegemuller officiating. Burial will be in Oak Hill cemetery. Friends may call at the Reining funeral home Wednesday evening. The body will be removed to the church at 11 a.m. Thursday.

[OBITUARY -] Rick Allen PRESS
Rick Allen PRESS, five-months old son of Mr. and Mrs. Charles L. PRESS, 420
North street, died at 9 a.m. Tuesday in Mercy hospital. He was admitted Monday evening.
The child was born May 29, 1950. Survivors, besides his parents, are two brothers,
James and William; three sisters, Mrs. Robert HEFTY, Mary Ann and Linda; a grandmother, Mrs. Kenneth KINNA; and great grandmother, Mrs. W. G. YEOMANS, Janesville.
Funeral services will be held at 3 p.m. Wednesday in the Overton funeral home, the
Rev. John R. Estes of the Baptist church officiating. Burial will be in Oak Hill cemetery.
