- Arthur J. ROHWEDER, 75, 557 N. Walnut St., died Monday
afternoon at Mercy
- Hospital after three days illness.
- Mr. ROHWEDER was a barber in Janesville for 12 years
and was employed at the
- Parker Pen Co. for nine years. He was a member of Western
Star Masonic Lodge No. 14, Madison Consistory and Zor Shrine.
- Born in Dysart, Iowa, March 9, 1886, he was the son of Marcus
and Mary
- WHITECRAFT ROHWEDER. His first wife, the
former Grace LESTER, died in 1925. Mr. ROHWEDER
and Corinne CRANDALL were married June 26, 1935 in Oregon,
Ill.
- Surviving are his wife; a daughter, Mrs. Gay DONALDSON,
Denver, Colo.; one
- son, Terry ROHWEDER, Janesville; five grandchildren
and four great-grandchildren.
- Services will be at 3 p.m. Friday in Overton Funeral Home,
The Rev. Kendrick
- Strong, First Congregational Church, officiating. Burial
will be in Oak Hill Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral
home Thursday evening from 7 to 9, the Masonic service will be
