Milton - Mrs. Horace R. LOOFBORO, 93, a resident here since 1926, died this
morning in Caravilla after a long illness.
Hattie [Odessa] MUDGE was born Dec. 20, 1875, in Welton, Iowa, and was
married there June 5, 1901. The couple farmed in the Welton area until moving here in 1926. She was a member of Milton Seventh Day Baptist Church.
Surviving are two sons, Elson, Janesville, and Paul, Waukesha; five grandchildren; 11
great-grandchildren; a sister, Mrs. Leonard WILKINSON, Freeland, Mich.
Services will be at 2 p.m., Friday in the church with burial in Milton Cemetery. Friends
may call at Albrecht Funeral Home from 7 to 9 p.m. tomorrow.
Memorials may be made to the Milton SDB Church. [Wednesday edition, p. 2]

[OBITUARY -] Marvin HELGESON
Services for Marvin HELGESON, 82, of 315 Center Ave., who died yesterday in
Mercy Hospital, will be at 2 p.m. Monday in First Lutheran Church with burial in Oak Hill Cemetery. Friends may call at the Wolfgram Funeral Home from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. tomorrow, and at the church prior to services.
He was born March 13, 1887, in Rock County, the son of Thomas and Aletta
MARTINSON HELGESON, and resided in this area all his life. He was married to Nettie ALBRIGHT Sept. 27, 1911 in Rockford. He was employed in the Chevrolet plant protection force for 22 years, retiring in 1955. He was a member of the First Lutheran Church.
Survivors are his wife; three sons, Marvin Jr., Milton; Robert, El Monte, Calif.; and
Wesley, Madison; three daughters, Mrs. Forest ALLEN, La Verne, Calif.; Mrs. Robert MATZKE and Mrs. Deloss ASHLEY, both of Janesville; 13 grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren. [Saturday edition]

Milton - The Rev. Erlo E[verett] SUTTON, Boulder, Colo., a resident here from
1923-1937 and former pastor of Milton Junction Seventh Day Baptist Church, field secretary of the SDB Sabbath School board, and editor of the adult quarterly from 1927-1951, died at Boulder on Saturday.
He was born April 25, 1879, at Berea, W. Va., and served churches at Berea,
Rockville, R.I., Andover, N.Y., Little Genesee, N.Y., and Shiloh, N.J., before coming to Milton. He later served in Denver and Boulder, Colo., retiring in 1948 but continuing active in church work.
Surviving are a son, The Rev. Trevah R. SUTTON, El Paso, Texas; a daughter, Mrs.
Robert RANDOLPH, Freeport, Ill., and grandchildren.
Services will be tomorrow in Boulder, the Rev. Elmo F. Randolph formerly of Milton
officiating. [Monday edition, p. 2]
