Charles PRESS
- Mrs. Charles L. PRESS, 63, of 420 Johnson, died Saturday
at Mercy Hospital after
- a brief illness.
- The former Marian A. VOLBRECHT, born Dec. 18, 1913,
in Janesville and a 1931
- graduate of Janesville High School, was married to Mr. PRESS
March 28, 1931, in Janesville. She was a member of First Baptist
Church.
- Surviving are her husband; three daughters and two sons,
William, Mrs. Charlene
- HEFTY, Mrs. Mary Ann LOASCHING, Janesville,
Charles J., Los Angeles, Calif., and Mrs. Linda WIES,
Evansville; 16 grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; a brother,
Albert VOLBRECHT, Apple Valley, Calif.; five sisters,
Mrs. Virginia PFEIFFER and Mrs. Donna PFEIFFER,
Janesville, Mrs. Lucille PERRIGO, Rockford, Mrs. Betty
MOWER, Kewaunee, Ill., and Mrs. Jacqueline HESSIAN,
Loves Park, Ill.
- Services are at 1:30 p.m. Wednesday in Overton Funeral Home,
with burial in Oak
- Hill Cemetery.
- Friends may call at the funeral home from 2 to 4 and 7 to
9 today.

- [OBITUARY -] Mrs.
Frances NICKOLS
- Mrs. Frances NICKOLS, 87, formerly of _62 N. Washington,
died Saturday at St.
- Elizabeth Home.
- The former Frances MIKLOS, born Nov. 5, 1889, in Austria,
was married there to
- Frank NICKOLS in 1907. They came to Janesville in
1919. He died in1974. Mrs. NICKOLS was a member of St.
William Catholic Church and Altar Society.
- Surviving are two sons and a daughter, Nicholas, Carl and
Frances, all of Janesville;
- seven grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; and a brother,
Alex MIKLOS in Canada.
- Services are at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday in St. William Church,
with burial at Mt. Olivet
- Cemetery.
- Friends may call from 7 to 9 tonight at Schneider Funeral
Home where the Rosary will
- be recited at 7:30 p.m.
