- Mrs. James CHURCHILL, 71, of 940 Sharon Road, died
Sunday morning at
- Caravilla Retirement Home following a long illness.
- The former Ruth [Clarissa] GRAY was born March 9,
1907, in Milton, and married
- James CHURCHILL on June 21, 1924, in Rockford. He
died in 1962. She attended the First Baptist Church and was
a member of its Faith Circle.
- Surviving are three sons, Richard and James, both of Janesville,
and Bruce of Route 3,
- Janesville; 10 grandchildren; three great-grandchildren;
two brothers, Howard GRAY of Stoughton, and Harry GRAY
of Janesville; and two sisters, Josephine GRAY of Janesville,
and Mrs. Adelaide SANFORD of Liemington, Ont., Canada.
- Services will be at 1:30 p.m. Wednesday in the Schneider
Funeral Home with burial
- in the Oak Hill Cemetery. Friends may call Tuesday from
7 to 9 p.m. at the funeral home. Memorials may be made to the
First Baptist Church. [Monday edition, p. 4]
