- EDGERTON - James W. ARTHUR Sr., 67, of Route 1, died
Monday in Edgerton
- Memorial Community Hospital after suffering an apparent heart
attack at home.
- Born Feb. 24, 1912, in Edgerton, he married Elvira RUOSCH
on Nov. 19, 1932,
- in Freeport, Ill. Arthur farmed and worked as an inseamer
at Edgerton Shoe Co. until retirement in 1967. He was a member
of the United Methodist Church and the Edgerton Shoe Co. Quarter
Century Club.
- Surviving are his wife; three sons, James Jr. of Janesville,
Henry of Edgerton and
- Charles of Ft. Myers, Fla.; three daughters, Mrs. Mary MILLARD
of St. Petersburg, Fla., Mrs. Helen WENTLER of Janesville
and Mrs. Clara SNELL of Edgerton; 17 grandchildren; and
a great-grandchild.
- Services will be at 11 a.m. Thursday in the United Methodist
Church with burial in
- Fassett Cemetery. Friends may call Wednesday from 3 to 5
and 7 to 9 p.m. at the Bruni Funeral Home. Memorials may be made
