- Mrs. Illa L[ottie] WENZEL, 76, of 930 N. Washington,
died at home Monday
- following an apparent heart attack.
- Born Aug. 14, 1903, in Welton, Iowa, the former Illa HURLEY
married Fritz L.
- WENZEL on Sept. 2, 1937, in Milton. They made their
home in Beloit until moving to Janesville in 1945. He died Oct.
12, 1976.
- Mrs. WENZEL worked at Freeman Shoe Co., Beloit, for
more than 25 years and
- was a member of its Quarter Century Club. She was also a
member of Mount Calvary Lutheran Church and its LWML.
- Surviving are a son, Phillip C. MAZE of Janesville,
and a brother, Lester HURLEY
- of Tempe, Ariz.
- Services will be at 1 p.m. Friday in Mount Calvary Lutheran
Church with burial in
- Plymouth Cemetery. Friends may call Thursday from 3 to 4
and 7 to 9 p.m. at the Overton Funeral Home. Memorials may be
made to the church or American Heart Association. [Wednesday
