Mrs. Dorothy W. MAXSON, 55, of 1806 N. Lexington, died Thursday in Mercy
Hospital after an illness.
Born here Dec. 17, 1925, the former Dorothy [Mae] WEBER married Keith
MAXSON on July 18, 1959, in Janesville. She attended St. Mary's grade school, graduated from Janesville High School in 1943 and Milton College in 1947. Employed by the Wisconsin Telephone Co. for 32 years, she was a member of St. Mary's Catholic Church and the Wisconsin Telephone Pioneers and was past president of the Elks Ladies Club and past senior counselor of the UCT Auxiliary.
Surviving are her husband; a son, David at home; a sister, Janet WEBER of
Milwaukee; and two brothers, John WEBER of Janesville and Richard WEBER of Madison Heights, Mich.
Services will be at 10 a.m. Saturday in Overton Funeral Home and at 10:30 a.m. in
St. Mary's Catholic Church with entombment in Mount Olivet Cemetery Mausoleum. Friends may call from 6 to 9 tonight at the funeral home, where the Elks Ladies will conduct services at 7 p.m. with a prayer service at 7:30 p.m. [Friday edition, p. 4]
