Walter B[enjamin] COCKERILL, 98, died Wednesday at Rock Haven. He was born April 12, 1886, in Germany and came to the United States at a young age. [He was actually born in Berlin, WI.] He did missionary work in China and later retired from farming near Berlin. He married Clara FOX, who died in 1958. He was a member of the Seventh Day Baptist Church. Surviving are nieces and nephews. Services will be at 11 a.m. Friday at Albrecht Funeral Home Milton, with burial in Milton Cemetery.
