Education - Janesville Sesquicentennial   Woman active in education Mrs. Allen LOVEJOY, founder of the Janesville DAR, was also active in the Janesville Public Library from 1886-1929. She was also founder of the first kindergarten in Janesville, founder of the Art Study Class in 1876, and one of the founders of the first hospital.
