Education - Janesville Sesquicentennial   One man was Janesville mayor four times J. W. ST. JOHN was mayor of Janesville four times. He served terms starting in 1875, 1883, 1889, [and] 1892. J. Bodwell DOE three times and several others served twice including Janesville's first mayor, A. Hyatt SMITH.
