Glen Charles
- JANESVILLE - Glen Charles BAHL, age 79, of 1700 S.
River Rd., died Fri.,
- March 28, 1997, at Mercy Hospital. Glen was born July 10,
1917, in Eagle, WI, the son of Charles William and Glenn Caroline
(WHEELOCK) BAHL. He was married June 27, 1939,
in Emerald Grove to Helen Lucille BRADT. He served with
the U.S. Army from Sept. 1943 until April 1946. Mr. BAHL
was employed by General Motors for 30 years, retiring as an inspector
in April of 1976. Mr. and Mrs. BAHL were longtime residents
of Johnstown Center until moving to Cedar Crest. He was a member
of Rock Prairie United Presbyterian Church and UAW Local #95.
- Surviving are his wife, Helen L. BAHL; 2 daughters,
Beverly (Ken) FAGA of
- Madison, Barbara (Gerald) MUETZEL of Janesville; 4
granchildren: Brian (Lorelle) PATT, Brenda (Marty) McMILLEN,
Michael (fiance Sandy) MUETZEL, and Matthew MUETZEL;
3 great-granchildren, Alecka, Alexander and Ariana; nieces, nephews
and cousins. He was preceded in death by his parents, as well
as 2 sisters.
- Private funeral services will be held Tues., April 1, 1997,
at SCHNEIDER FUNERAL
- HOME, Janesville, with Rev. Louise Armstrong officiating,
followed by burial in Emerald Grove Cemetery. A memorial service
will be held at 2:30 p.m Sat., April 12, 1997, at ROCK PRAIRIE
UNITED PRESBYTERIAN CHURCH, with Rev. Dr. Harry H. Johnson officiating.
In lieu of other expressions of sympathy, memorials are preferred
to the Rock Prairie United Presbyterian Church Building Fund
or the Cedar Crest Benevolent Fund. [Monday edition, p. 2B,
