MILTON- Ralph Winferd GRAY, age 84, of 8858 N. Pine Rd., Milton, WI, died in
Mercy Hospital on March 1, 2004.
He was born in Milton Jct. on Jan. 12, 1920, the son of Winferd H. and Myrtle L.
(DORN) GRAY. He graduated from Milton Union High School in 1938. He was married to Shirley (NAATZ) GRAY in 1941. He went into the service in 1943. He was in the U.S. Army 7th Division 24 Corps for military service during World War II in the following campaigns: Pacific Theater, Philippines, and Okinawa. After he was discharged in January, 1945 he went back to his job at Parker Pen. In 1954 he went back to farming until 1982. He was a Gazette carrier for many years.
Ralph is survived by his wife, Shirley; 3 daughters: Virginia (Travis) FAIRCHILD of
Holt, MI, Nancy (Bill) WILSON of Tolland, CT, and Carol GRAY at home; 4 grand- children: Debbie (Charles) BIRD of Holt, MI, Scott (Tara) FAIRCHILD of Ann Arbor, MI, Sarah WILSON of Manchester, CT, and Erin WILSON of Tolland, CT; 2 great- grandchildren, Samantha Renee BIRD and Ethan Charles BIRD, both of Holt, MI; a sister, Virginia (Wesley) HARE of Whitewater; and a brother, Robert C. (Penny) GRAY of Milton. He was preceded in death by his parents.
Services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Friday, March 5, 2004 in Milton United Methodist
Church, Milton, with Rev. Tom Moe officiating. Visitation will be held on Thursday from 5:00 until 7:00 p.m. at Albrecht Funeral Home, Milton. Burial will be in Milton Lawns Cemetery, Janesville. In lieu of other expressions of sympathy, memorials may be made to Veterans Home in King, WI. [Wednesday edition]

MILTON - William Richard HULL, age 84, of Milton, died Friday, March 6, 2004
at Monroe Manor, Monroe, WI. He was born on June 30, 1919 in Milton, WI, son of Frank and Kathryn (THIELE) HULL.
He graduated from Milton Union High School and was in the U.S. Army from Oct. 7,
1940 to Oct. 12, 1945. He worked at Parker Pen and retired after 38 years there. He married Vivian PROTTEAU in May, 1943; she died in 1964. On April 24, 1965 he married Betty (ZANZINGER) OLSON. He was a member of Hope Lutheran Church, Milton.
Surviving are his wife, Betty of Milton; children: Karen (Victor) TREWYN, Mary
(James) JENKINS, Debora HULL, all of Janesville, Geralyn (Grant) PAOLINI of Sarasota, FL, Susan (Peter) POPIAN, Gray (Barb) GARNETT, all of Janesville, Grey (Cheryl) OLSON of Rockford, IL, Eric R. OLSON of Janesville, and Kristine (Gary) KORPELA of Marshfield, WI; a brother, Warren (Ellen) HULL; 2 sisters, Kathryn HULL of Janesville and Marion KUMLIEN of Milton; a sister-in-law, Betty COOPER of Janesville; 18 grandchildren; and 21 great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents; and 3 brothers: Phillip HULL, Donald "Joe" HULL, and Vivian "Beans" HULL.
A Memorial Service will be held at 11:00 a.m. Saturday, March 20, 2004 at Hope
Lutheran Church, Milton, with Pastor Ron Weber officiating. Burial will be in Milton Cemetery. Albrecht Funeral Home, Milton, assisted the family. [Thursday edition]
