- MILTON- Kathleen E. Dard FANNING DREW, 89,
of 448 Greenhill Dr., died
- Wednesday, March 16, 2005, at Haven House Hospice, Janesville.
- She was born in Milton on Feb. 3, 1916, the daughter of Patrick
and Lulu
- (MULLEN) FANNING. She graduated from Milton
Union High School in 1933. Kathleen had been employed by the
Parker Pen Company for 8 years before serving in the Women's
Army Corps during World War II. She married Daniel DREW
on Feb. 26, 1949 in Milton, where they were engaged in farming.
He preceded her in death on Oct. 11, 1983. Kathleen was a foster
mother for several years to Ed St. Clair, and retired from the
Burdick Corporation in 1981 after 20 years. She was actively
involved in St. Mary Catholic Church, St. Martha Circle, the
Milton Historical Society, Milton Women's Club, Prairie Du Lac
Questers, and the Shamrock Club.
- She is survived by her 2 sisters, Agnes HANAUSKA of
Milton and Sara Sis DREW
- of Janesville; sister-in-law, Arlene FANNING of Janesville;
and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by
her parents; husband; 5 brothers: Joseph (Peg), Paul (Elsie),
Dint (Phyllis), Harold and Bud (Betty) FANNING; and 2
brothers-in-law, Louie HANAUSKA and Joe DREW.
- A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:30 a.m. on
Monday, March 21, 2005, at
- St. Mary of the Immaculate Conception Church, Milton, with
Msgr. James Uppena officiating. Interment will be in Mt. Olivet
Cemetery, Janesville. Friends may call on Sunday from 2:00 until
4:00 p.m. at Schneider Apfel Schneider & Schneider Funeral
Home, where a prayer service will be held at 4:00 p.m. and again
on Monday at the church from 9:30 a.m. until the hour of Mass.

- JANESVILLE- James A[delbert] McCULLOCH, 78, a longtime
Janesville resident,
- died peacefully on Friday evening, March 18, 2005, at Haven
House Hospice, surrounded by his family.
- He was born in Milton Junction, WI, on Sept. 9, 1926, son
of the late Frank and
- Laura (CAMPBELL) McCULLOCH. Jim graduated from
Milton High School and later joined the Army on Dec. 18, 1944,
serving his country in the Asiatic-Pacific Theater with the Military
Police Unit, until he was honorably discharged on Nov. 21, 1946.
After returning from the service he married the former Betty
J. QUINN in Janesville on Sept. 18, 1948. Jim worked
for over 50 years as a parts manager or a service manager for
many different Ford dealerships in Milton and Janesville, beginning
with Desen's Ford in Milton, the former Clifford Ford in Janesville,
and retiring from Gordie Boucher Ford in 1996. He enjoyed working
on automobiles and was very proud of his 1951 Mercury Coup that
his son later acquired. He was a very loyal person, who always
was there to help out anyone; even going out to the dealership
to get parts on his day off for the "weekend" auto
mechanics. His very sincere and caring manner made him a true
gentleman, who was very proud of his family and his grandchildren.
- He is survived by his wife of 57 years, Betty of Janesville,
and 2 children, Robert
- (Laura) McCULLOCH of Fort Wayne, IN, and Deb (David)
JENNINGS of Janesville; 3 grandchildren: Michael (Kelly)
McCULLOCH of Carmel, IN, Tim JENNINGS of Janesville,
and Steve (fiancée, Holly KRUGLER) of Wauwatosa,
WI; a sister, Virginia (Corwin) HILTON of Milton, WI;
2 brothers, Kenneth (Jane) McCULLOCH and Frank (Ann) McCULLOCH,
both of Milton; a sister-in-law, Barbara McCULLOCH of
Boise, ID; many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by a brother,
Rodney McCULLOCH.
- Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Tuesday, March
22, 2005, at the
- Whitcomb-Lynch-Albrecht Funeral Home, Janesville, 15 N. Jackson
St., with Rev. JD McCarty officiating. Burial will follow at
Milton Lawns Memorial Park, with Military Rites provided by VFW
Kienow-Hilt Post # 1621. Visitation will be on Monday from
5:00 until 7:00 p.m. at the Whitcomb-Lynch-Albrecht Funeral Home,
Janesville, and on Tuesday morning from 10:30 a.m. until the
time of the service at the funeral home. [Monday edition]
