- Funeral services for John Everett PATTERSON, 91, a
retired farmer and business-
- man, were held in the Phelps funeral home here Saturday,
July 4. He was buried in Milton cemetery.
- Mr. PATTERSON died Friday July 2, in Mercy hospital,
Janesville.
- A son of Joseph and Mary PATTERSON, Mr. PATTERSON
was born Aug. 5,
- 1857, at Jefferson. He was educated in the Jefferson schools
and Milton college. On Dec. 20, 1881, he married Miss Ella
CLARKE and he joined the Seventh-day Adventist church
about 60 years ago. Mrs. PATTERSON preceded him in death
in 1914 and a son, Charles, died in 1935.
- Surviving are two daughters, Mrs. Mary LIGHTNER, Rockford,
Ill., and Mrs. Etta
- NELSON, Milton Junction; two sons, Everett PATTERSON,
Milton, and Archie PATTERSON, Denver, Colo. [Thursday
