- Funeral services were held Friday afternoon,
June 17, for Arthur Marion CRAIG,
- 74, who died in Memorial hospital,
Edgerton, Wednesday, after being in failing health for several
months. He had been a patient at the hospital for a week.
- He was born in Milton Feb. 5, 1875,
and lived all is life in and near Milton. He began
- work when a boy for the Chicago, Milwaukee
and St. Paul railway, as a student brakeman and served as trainman,
pumper and station helper and flagman for about 60 years, retiring
about five years ago.
- He was married to Florence CHADWICK,
who died Feb. 21, 1930.
- He is survived by one daughter, Mrs.
Bessie FIELD of Edgerton, three grandchildren,
- Rex ADDIE of Darien, Mrs. Russell
BAUER and Dean FIELD of Edgerton, and four great-grandchildren.
Two sisters, Mrs. Marie CROSS and Mrs. Frank GREEN
of Milton. A twin brother, Archie CRAIG and one sister,
preceded him in death.
- Burial was in the Milton cemetery.
- Pallbearers were Frank RISDON,
Bert RISDON, Homer GREEN, Al
- KUMLIEN,
Pete FRIEDEL and Paul BURNHAM. Flowers were in
charge of Mrs. Harris DREW and Mrs. Philip BAUER.
